KRIKKE MOTORSPORT’S SERIES THREE-PEAT
It was another season and another Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series crown for Dayne Kingshott and the Krikke Motorsport team, after the Bunbury, Western Australia-based duo claimed a second place finish during last Saturday night’s Grand Final at the Perth Motorplex that helped them secure a third Maddington Toyota Series victory in a row.
The WA # 2 Mobil 1 / Bunbury Toyota supported Maxim racer became only the third driver ever to claim a Maddington Toyota Series three-peat, which saw him join Jamie Maiolo and Jason Kendrick, and it came off the back of his most consistent campaign ever that included a total of six wins during 23 hard-fought rounds.
“To win one Maddington Toyota Series was a thrill but to do it three times in a row is something really special for the Krikke Motorsport team and I,” expressed the 36-year-old from Bunbury, who has now completed his sixth season as the Krikke Motorsport team driver.
“The team and I set quite a high bar each and every season, so to be able to step up to that plate and score six round wins on our way to a third Maddington Toyota Series crown is testament to all of the continued hard work from every single person involved with the Krikke Motorsport team, and I can’t thank them all enough for their wonderful support in helping make all of this happen.”

Krikke Motorsport team manager Ryan Krikke was equally as thrilled as the team’s driver to clinch a Maddington Toyota Series three-peat.
‘I’m rapt to finally get to the end of the season in such good shape and close the Maddington Toyota Series out, as it’s been a long season and we’ve been racing for eight months now and ran a total of 39 nights of racing,” he said.
“I feel like it’s been a breakout season for Dayne, and the results are a credit to not only his and Matt’s (Cochrane) hard work but the whole team, and I’m very proud of all the boys for their commitment and hard work all season long. The level of competition this season increased for sure, so to come out on top in the Maddington Toyota Series and pick up two wins on the road interstate is very satisfying, which makes me extremely pleased with what we have achieved this season.”

With the off season now here, Dayne and the team are going to work hard during the winter months to prepare for a bigger and better 2026-27 season campaign.
