KMS ANNOUNCE SEASON PLANS
Excited, that is one of the biggest emotions Krikke Motorsport team manager Ryan Krikke carries heading into their 2023-24 season campaign with both team drivers Dayne Kingshott and Kerry Madsen.
For the third season in a row, the Krikke Motorsport team and Kingshott, who has finished inside the top five of the Maddington Toyota Series point standings over the past two seasons, will be contesting the entire Maddington Toyota Series schedule, while the American-based Madsen is once again going to come out for short Australian tour to compete in the major events on the east coast.
“I’m really excited with our plan for this coming season with once again engaging both Dayne and Kerry as our team drivers,” said Krikke.
“We are chasing nothing short of a Maddington Toyota Series win with Dayne, who just keeps improving. The state of Western Australia is going to be super tough this season with some big races that will no doubt draw some good cars from around the country, and hopefully we can pick up a few big wins along the way.
“Having Kerry come out for the Grand Annual Classic and Australian Championship double header fortnight at Premier Speedway in Victoria keeps that dream alive as well. I think we are a lot better positioned this season than last season to make the most of these opportunities for both drivers.”
When it comes to the Krikke Motorsport team being better positioned for the season ahead, Krikke is very enthusiastic about it.
“Matty (Cochrane – crew chief) has done a fantastic job during the winter break preparing the whole team for the season ahead,” he said.
“Dayne is fitter than I’ve ever seen him, and Kerry has had a consistent season over in America, so all the ingredients are there, we just need to get rolling and execute. Bring it on!”
The 2023-24 season campaign for the Krikke Motorsport team is set to get underway with Kingshott competing in the opening Maddington Toyota Series round at the Perth Motorplex on the Saturday night of October 21.
