KINGSHOTT STANDS TALL
THE recent $100,000 to win High Limit International at the Perth Motorplex was billed as one of the biggest 410 Sprintcar events ever held in Australia, and it certainly didn’t disappoint, and one of the local standouts was Krikke Motorsport team driver Dayne Kingshott.
Kingshott performed strongly in all three nights of the High Limit International, where he was able to use his local knowledge to best effect by finishing fifth in night one which would have been fourth had it not been for him hitting the wall on the last corner and damaging the car’s front end, he then had an unfortunate DNF on night two where he was on track for another top five performance up until two incidents where he was the innocent party brought him undone, and then capped the event by finishing fifth in the $100,000 to win third and final night aboard the WA # 2 Mobil 1 / Bunbury Toyota backed Maxim.
As one could imagine, team manager Ryan Krikke was thrilled with the performance of the Bunbury, Western Australia-based Krikke Motorsport team throughout the inaugural High Limit International event.

“The whole team was stoked to be a top five contender on all three nights up against some of the world’s best 410 Sprintcar racers,” he expressed.
“Dayne had been carrying great form into the High Limit International, but we all knew that we were going to have to go to another level, as there is a massive difference between running a local show to a major event like that, and I’m very proud of the whole Krikke Motorsport team that we were able to do it.”
Kingshott echoed his team manager’s sentiments.
“I can’t thank the whole Krikke Motorsport team enough, as this is a team effort, because I’m not able to do what I do without a strong team behind me,” the 35-year-old from Bunbury explained.

“On each night, the team provided me with a great car that was able to run within the top five. It was a big thrill being able to mix it with the likes of Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson, and it was great to have fellow Australians in James McFadden and Callum Williamson right in the mix, too.
“The whole event was successful with a great field of cars and huge crowds on all three nights, and having an event such as the High Limit International at the Perth Motorplex is a massive boost for the entire speedway industry here in Australia.”
